Identifying Barriers Limiting Performance – A Fast Track Option
Success breeds complacency. Successful organizations desiring to improve performance and accomplish more inevitably lose some of the discipline in fundamentals that made them successful in the first place. The Identifying Barriers Limiting Performance – A Fast Track Option workshop revisits key fundamentals and openly addresses, in a productive way, “uncomfortable topics” and barriers to progress. The workshop combines homework assignments and interactive discussions to make more progress toward future improved performance than is achieved in many months of a normal approach. Each workshop is custom developed to address specific desires of an organization. Information obtained from simple anonymous questionnaires is summarized and used to fuel collaborative discussions resulting in specific commitments that will get people working together to eliminate performance-robbing barriers.
The collaborative workshop portion requires 6–12 hours time from participating organization personnel. This time can be broken up to accommodate an organization’s business needs.
Participants: up to 12 in a group.
Participant Positions: any mix of management and employees depending on scope and expected outcome.
Steps:
- Initial discussion with organization’s leadership
- Prepare questionnaires
- Provide questionnaires to participants with 1 week turnaround
- Summarize information obtained & plan workshop agenda
- Discuss proposed agenda topics, approach, and outcomes with leadership
- Conduct workshop
Investment: $1000 for 1–6 participants; $1600 for 7–12 participants; plus approved expenses as applicable. This workshop is aggressively priced because it is fun to do and refreshingly productive for the participants.
